Question: Has anyone ever done debt consolidation?

My husband and I had a lot of credit card debt. We decided that we were going to consolidate and it was the best decision. We went through Care One and we are 3 months away from being debt free. It took us 2 and a half years. The only negative is that all accounts will be closed and that kinda affects your credit score. But it's worth it cause it's only one payment that you'll send and it's cheaper than just making the minimum payment to each creditor.

Yeah it's a good idea and you want to waste money to pay a company for something you can easily do yourself and default on all your credit cards which will KILL your credit.
